Are you an international student who wishes to visit Australia temporarily for further studies in its reputed institutions? Then a student visa is for you. This is a temporary study visa valid for 5 years. And the length of stay will be decided based on course type and its duration. However, primary school children in the years 1 to 4 are granted a student visa of no more than 3 years. 

With this visa, you can

• Take part in any eligible course for studies

• Travel in and out of Australia

• Work for a maximum of 40 hours in every 2-week period after the course commences.

However, you must

• Be enrolled in a course for study and able to provide evidence for the same

• Meet the English language criteria

• Prove you have welfare arrangement if you are under 18 years

• Have Overseas Student Health Cover

• Should be able to meet your expenses
