New Zealand

Why choose?

The Land of Kiwis welcomes more than 100,000 students every year to pursue their dream education.

Remarkable Education System

New Zealand provides high standards of education and globally recognised courses for students to choose from. Their system is very similar to the British education system.

 Affordable

In comparison to their counterparts, NZ universities are more affordable. An international student might have to pay an average of NZ$ 22,000 to NZ$ 35,000 annually while studying at a high-ranking institution.

Scholarship

The New Zealand government is very supportive of international students and provides several scholarship programs to support immigrating students.

Cultural Diversity

Kiwis are known for their friendly, polite, open, and honest nature. The country itself has a multi-cultural dynamic that makes every student feel welcome in their surroundings.

Can I work while studying?

Yes! Working while you are studying not only gives you the extra financial support you might need but also teaches you some very employable skills. With your student visa, you're permitted to work for 20 hours weekly while classes are on schedule but you can pursue a full- time job during the holidays and breaks. You can even choose sectors of your choice like retail, hospitality, banking, finance, etc. Some universities provide on-campus part-time jobs too.

What can I do for entertainment?

City of Sails

Visit the harbours of Manukau and Waitemata, set in the volcanic landscape.  Or if the quiet harbours aren’t your thing, then you could go bungee jumping from Auckland Sky Tower.

Beautiful Beaches and Lakes

Is it the weekend after stressful exams? Go into the serene heartland of Hamilton and visit the impressive lakes or even go skydiving at Taupo.

Journey to the Middle-earth

If you're a Lord of the Rings fan, this is heaven on earth for you! Take an organised or solo tour of the 150+ locations where it was shot. Who knows, you might find a hobbit or two!

Don’t miss out on the wonderful study abroad opportunities that New Zealand presents. Let Shikshya Sadan counselors help you get into a top New Zealand university today!
