Understanding IELTS|PTE
IELTS stands for International English Language Test. IELTS is most popular among those who want to go to Australia, Canada, London, New Zealand, etc. You should pass listening, writing, speaking, and reading tests with fluent marks to get a better score. IELTS is owned by the British Council, the International development program of Australia, and Cambridge Assessment.
PTE stands for Pearson Test of English. PTE is accepted by top universities such as Harvard, Yale, Stanford, etc. In PTE also you will give your Test for listening, writing, reading, and speaking. It is owned by Pearson PLC, which is a British educational company.
How much does it cost for IELTS | PTE ?
IELTS: The computer-based Test for IELTS booking comes up to USD 375 and does not charge any extra fee for late bookings.
PTE: PTE costs USD 375 if you book your date for an exam at the time, but if you book beyond the date, you will be charged an extra fee and the charge comes up to USD 395.

How long is the Test?
IELTS: The time allotted is 2hours 45 minutes. It is divided into 2 days in which Listening, Reading, and Writing are conducted on the same day and speaking is on the second day. For Writing and Reading 60 minutes, Listening, an average of 30 minutes, and Speaking, 11 to 14 minutes are allotted to every candidate.
PTE: The maximum time allotted is 3 hours 10 minutes. In the first part, for Speaking and Writing 77 to 93 minutes is allotted. And for part two, reading 32 to 41 minutes & for part three listening, 45 to 57 minutes is allotted.
Understanding IELTS | PTE Score
IELTS: Scores are given in a Band Scale System of 0-9, 0 being the lowest score and 9 is the highest score.
PTE: Scores range from 10 to 90, where 10 is the lowest and 90 is the highest.
Venue for the IELTS and PTE Exam
IELTS: Generally IELTS exam takes place in a large hall inside a banquet hall or hotel. You will be sitting for the Test with a large number of examinees under one hall.
PTE: PTE exams take place only at the authorized institutions that are generally managed under the Pearson Group.

IELTS vs PTE - Which Is Easier?
It depends on the individual everyone has different strengths and backgrounds. However, we can guide you after assessing your requirements and educational experience.
